Meet Julie our new Activities Director. She has joined us with with many new ideas and plans for our residents to keep active physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our new Activities Director, Julie, and her assistant, Adrianna, share the new bulletin board for Fall with the new list of activities. We now offer movies, more trivia, more analogies, more Bingo, and special outings to Kingwood Center Gardens and more.

Nurse Dreama checks and prepares the medication cart before she rounds to check on her patients. We appreciate all our nursing staff and their hard work.

Housekeeper Nancy replaces a trash bag as she works on cleaning the room, preparing it for a new resident. We appreciate all the hard work of the housekeeping staff.

Travis is whipping up some creamed corn for dinner. We appreciate Travis and all our kitchen staff for all their hard work.

Einstein, our Liberty resident pupper and Ambassador of Joy, made a visit to the Activities office this week to show Adrianna his good boy sit. He was rewarded with one of his favorite bacon treats. Einstein always brings joy to any office or resident room when he visits.

For this month's Parachute Game, Liberty Actvities Aide, Pamela (left), and residents Helen O'Connell (next left), Peggy McLaughlin, Josephine Washington, Jeff Whitmeyer, and Ruth Wintermere, took to the sunny courtyard for their exercise. Eunice Vance keeps a close eye on her bingo card numbers in hopes of soon being able to shout "BINGO!" in one of the weekly bingo games at Liberty Nursing Center. Residents win tickets for their Bingo wins which can be redeemed at the Activities Department's Resident's Store for snacks, drinks, personal items, etc.

Every week the walkers and riders take a stroll of 2 laps through the facility for exercise. This week's group included Peggy McLaughlin, left, Activities Aide Adrianna, and Martha Fishburn (right).
