It just isn't a Super Bowl without the typical Super Bowl snacks! Our football themed cart was loaded with Queso Cheese Dip and Chips, Meatballs, Sugar Cookies and assorted pop! To substitute a Tailgate Pre-Game Party, we took the party to our residents, room to room. Included in this endeavor was signing residents up for participation in the Super Bowl Predictions Contest. First, second and third place winners will be announced on our next blog.

The families of a resident at Liberty decided to keep up their family tradition, something they have grown accustomed to every year. They would show up wherever Grandma was and carol to her and she joined right in with them! Words can't even explain how touching this was! Grandma loved seeing Frosty the Snowman show up at her window and then have a conversation via phone with family members! Overload of fun and memories! Thank God for families that reach out to their loved ones!
This certainly was a "Different Kind of Christmas" and a big thank you goes out to the Management Team and staff at Liberty! An "over the top" Christmas was provided for the residents this year! Everyone was excited to receive personal deliveries from Santa's helpers. It was so heartwarming to observe how the residents were trying to make the best of things. I guess you just never outgrow the excitement of receiving a gift during the holidays. Praying that next Christmas will be back to it's regular "HO, HO, HO"! Despite the unusual circumstances this year, Christmas is still all about a Savior being born for the redemption of our sins! Thank You Jesus and Happy Birthday!
These little elves were busy delivering presents last week. The residents, not only, loved their Secret Santa gifts, but also the festive attire and enthusiastic spirit from the staff! Many smiles were shared, hearts warmed and people blessed! We are thankful to have the opportunity to share our time with "Friends" we hold dear in our hearts! Many happy wishes for a most Blessed Christmas!
This naughty little elf is getting into mischief, as expected, with the Therapy Department. He keeps things pretty lively by showing up with some dastardly deeds! Instead of doing his therapy, he is spilling thickener all over the counter and using the transfer board for a slide. Then he proceeds to wrap the Christmas tree with stretchy bands, using a reach tool! He better get with the program! Lol!
We determine to let this Holy Season proceed by getting into the Christmas spirit and spreading Christmas cheer! This craft was simple and fun to put together. Santa's Candy Sleigh, something the residents can use to display for decoration and eat after Christmas! We choose to make the best of these holidays..it will for sure be one to remember! Merry Christmas to all and remember to go that extra mile to spread some Christmas Cheer!
This is what our Director of Operations was greeted with yesterday on his birthday! Needless to say, the confetti all over his office was a bit much for him! It was all in fun though and he knows we appreciate all he does for Liberty!
Residents enjoyed a surprise visit from Alan Seibert, the Music Man! With his spark and enthusiasm, he sang and danced to their favorite songs. They not only enjoyed the window entertainment but they joined in singing and dancing. This was a big hit at Liberty!
