On Sunday Oct. 25th residents and staff member had a surprise visit. We had the pleasure of being entertained by Mike Stevens and The Family Tradition, a well known gospel group in our community. The music was so uplifting. Residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the event and we're all looking forward to their next visit.

We would like to give a warm congratulations to Diana Johnson. Diana has been an employee at Liberty for 28 years and was just promoted to Activities Director. When she first began her career at Liberty, she was responsible for serving ice water and meal trays.
Well, we can't think of a better way to support our Bucks than our very own tailgate parties. Every Saturday in the month of September, we watch the games with snacks and trivia as we cheer Ohio State on.
Residents, family, and staff enjoyed our Family Carnival that replaced our Family Picnic this year. They can not wait to see what we add to it next year. Thank you to the staff and their family members that volunteered their time to make our carnival a huge hit.
The last week of July was spent on a vacation to Hawaii in our facility. The week had many activities pertaining to Hawaii from food to a huge Luau at the end of the week.
This year we are doing something a little different, instead of a family picnic we are having a “Family Carnival.” This event will be held August 23rd from 3pm to 6pm. There will be food, games, and lots of love to be shared.
Always looking for ways to enrich staff and resident interaction, our facility enjoyed activities late June that promoted staff appreciation awareness.
In honor of the Alzheimer's Association's, The Longest Day (which was June 21), Liberty staff members and residents donned themselves in purple. The annual sunrise-to-sunset event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers.
In spite of the rain, some of our male residents were able to mix and mingle, as they enjoyed the Car Show.
What is more fun than getting to enjoy the fruits and veggies that you hand pick from your own garden. Here, one of our residents got to enjoys a fresh strawberry. We are excited because strawberries, cucumbers, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and more were all planted at the end of May.
