At Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield, we are committed to providing the best possible care for our residents. That commitment has led us to make an exciting change in our secured memory care unit: transitioning to all-private rooms.
Previously, our facility offered private rooms throughout, except in the memory care unit. Now, we are ensuring that our memory care residents also benefit from this same level of privacy. Each private room will share a bathroom with one other resident, maintaining both convenience and personal space.
As an all-female memory care unit, we recognize the importance of comfort, dignity, and a peaceful environment. Our residents and their families are thrilled about this change, knowing that it will allow for more restful nights, free from the interruptions that can come with having a roommate. Families will also have the ability to meet with their loved ones in complete privacy, behind closed doors, without any disturbances.
Currently, our memory care residents are temporarily housed upstairs on our south hall while renovations are underway. Once the walls are completed and freshly painted, we will conduct a deep cleaning and restore all decorations and personal touches. The residents are eager to return to their familiar home, and we plan to celebrate this transition with a special event in their honor.
We are excited about the improvements these changes will bring, reinforcing our mission to provide high-quality, person-centered care. Stay tuned for more updates as we put the finishing touches on this renovation and welcome our memory care residents back home!
